Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on 5 February 1964. She is an American actor who is well-known for her talent in portraying powerful characters that are vulnerable. Linney was born into a theatre-loving family. Her father, Romulus Linney, was a writer. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University.
